Dr. Hopson is a graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. While at O.C.P.M., Dr. Hopson was a member of the Pi Delta National Honor Society. Following podiatry school, Dr. Hopson completed a three-year residency program under the Yale/VA Connecticut Healthcare System in New Haven, CT. Dr. Hopson received both primary podiatric medical training, as well as, advanced surgical training in foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Hopson is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, New York Podiatric Medical association, as well as, a fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Hopson is an avid sport fan. He also enjoys working out and spending time with his family.

Kirk has been dedicated to the development of the healthcare programs to meet special needs since graduation with a Bachelors of Arts from SUNY Fredonia and with a Masters in Social Work from Syracuse University. Kirk has developed a Big Brother/Big Sister programs in Jefferson County, a child psychiatric treatment team and case management program for SPMI population for Mercy Hospital in Watertown, NY, a Neurobehavioral Intervention Care Unit for Newark Wayne Community Hospital in Newark, NY and has developed programs for both inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance abuse for Clifton Springs Hospital. As of August 2003, he opened an Integrated Care Private Practice with a group of Internal Medicine/Pediatrics primary care physicians in Victor, NY to serve residents of Ontario, Wayne and Monroe counties.
